Last week as we celebrated the 51st Earth Day, President Biden wrapped up his global summit on climate change with a “Call to Action.”

To affect climate change globally, the work of our national government is critical but it’s not enough by itself. We must act locally. That is why I am running on a progressive platform for the Tucson City Council. Addressing the impacts of climate change on Tucson residents through adaptation and mitigation is the cornerstone of my campaign.

There are only 10 weekends left before Primary ballots are mailed out. We will be out every weekend talking to voters about the importance of this election.
