Onward to the General Election

We won the first round!

It’s official: thanks to your help and support I am the Democratic nominee for the Ward 3 Tucson City Council seat! I couldn’t be happier.

Now I advance to the general election where my name will appear on the ballot along with the Republican and Independent candidates. Like the primary election, the general will be an all mail election, only this time all registered voters in the Tucson city limits will get to choose who they want to represent them in Wards 3, 5, and 6.

Ballots will be mailed out in early October and the election will be on November 3rd. This means we have about eight weeks to walk and knock on people’s doors across the City before voting starts.

It is clear from the primary results that the impact of climate change is an issue on a lot of people’s minds. The latest IPCC report paints a bleak picture of our collective future if we do nothing, but it also makes clear there is still time to act. We CAN make a difference!

Are you available to walk for the campaign this weekend? We'll be at my house (1609 E. Spring St.) this Saturday at 9 a.m. for pick up/drop off of walk lists. You can walk Saturday morning or another time that works better for you. If it's your first time canvassing, we will offer some brief training and talking points.

If you can't come Saturday but still want to walk, contact us to get a printed list or Mini-Van number. Also, since we have the whole city to canvass, let us know if you have a preference on what neighborhood (outside of Ward 3) you walk.

Please RSVP to Dale at Info@KevinDahl4Tucson.com or 520-661-9654 so we can have materials ready for you.
