Happy Father’s Day
I normally share volunteer profiles or issues I care about in this weekly email.
But this weekend is Father’s Day, and my son Brian asked to write a few words to share. He is shown in the photo as a toddler thrilled with his new red wagon, but he is now an adult known to some of you as #TheGuyWhoDancesOnCongress,
I am humbled to include what he wrote:
“Dad, I have been watching you my whole life and learning so many of my traits from you. I want to thank you for teaching me and being involved in my life, even when I acted like I didn’t want you to. You taught me to think outside the box; that it’s ok to go after your dreams and how to accept failure and to learn from it and to keep trying. I love you. -Brian.”
I am a blessed and lucky man. I am grateful for my son Brian, for my wife Bam, and for the community that supports my effort to be elected to the Tucson City Council.
Thank you for what you have contributed so far to this campaign, but it is not over . . . I still need your help.
There are 3 weeks left before Primary Election ballots are mailed out.
I need your help to canvass neighborhoods in Ward 3 before the August 3rd Primary Election. We do this when it is still cool on Saturday mornings. Some choose to go out on cool weekday evenings.
Join us this Saturday, June 19, at 8:30 a.m. to pick up a targeted walk list and handouts.
Please contact me at 520-881-0807 or Info@KevinDahl4Tucson.com so we can have materials ready for you.
